"Christmas Tree" Meeting Room Layout

For regular club meetings, the standard meeting layout is the recommended U-shape where the speaker can look left, right and front and everyone can see everyone.

For speech contests, the usual layout is classroom style where everyone look forward front.

For installation dinners, the layout is round tables with stage with two lecterns, VIP table/s and optional dance floor.

On October 2, I attended Bayan Baru Club meeting at a temporary venue as our regular venue at PSDC was closed due to public holiday (Hari Raya Aidil Fitri).


First time, I have seen this "Christmas Meeting Room Layout". No room for speaker to move. Something new. Something unusual. What do you think of the layout?
